Building trans-inclusive societies isn’t a new concept, but it’s one that has come into sharp focus in 2021. Companies are entering 2021 with a new and expansive definition of diversity that ensures that minorities and the underserved are included.
A lively discussion with trans-persons from Basera Samajik Sansthan, NOIDA examined how each trans-person can start their journey of transformation by becoming responsible and accountable for themselves and make full use of the career progression and entrepreneurship opportunities brought by Transformation, a project awarded by Pernod Ricard India Foundation to Connecting Dreams Foundation with Pride Circle as a strategic partner. The discussion was led by Akhilesh Sharma, NIIT Foundation; Aparna, Guiding Souls and core team from CDF’s Changemaker Lab at Aryabhatta College, DU.
