I come from a tribal area where there are very limited educational facilities for PWD students. This fellowship will help me to interact with people from diverse socio-economic backgrounds to gain a new perspective.

Detailed Description:

Vekantesh’s initiative DPWD - Diksoochi for Persons with Disability aims to encourage persons with Disabilities to learn and develop new skills. He is creating opportunities for persons with disabilities to become more self - reliant by providing them with skill development guidance and workshops. His initiative is mobilising PWDs across the country to enhance their knowledge so that they can excel in all spheres of life. The SDG goal of reduced inequalities is what he pursues to achieve through his project. Venkatesh believes that this fellowship will help him to interact with people from diverse socio-economic backgrounds to gain a new perspective.
