"Asha and Arun in their entire life had faced discrimination based on gender and caste. Adding to the challenges, the quality of education provided by government schools leaves much to be deSired for, at least in most parts of the country. Students pursuing their further education in other villages, realise that their level of understanding is not at par with other students. This causes their confidence to drop as they feel inexperienced among their better educated peers. Asha wishes to provide young girls the confidence of pursuing their dreams by giving them the tool of education and Arun being a strong advocate for education himself decided to address this crucial gap in the children’s learning. They wanted children to have a zeal for learning and give them wings to dream big. Asha and Arun thus decided to teach young children in their village by taking classes on Hindi and Maths. "
